In particular, July is a time when a variety of agricultural and marine products are abundantly available, and it is recommended to try eating them to healthily overcome the hot summer. Based on data from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, I will introduce five seasonal farm and marine products that are good to eat in July.

1. Peach
Peaches begin to be harvested in earnest from July. Known for their sweet taste and aroma, peaches are rich in vitamins A and C, as well as dietary fiber, which help with skin health and digestion. Additionally, peaches contain a large amount of antioxidants that reduce inflammation in the body, making them beneficial for health management during the summer.

2. Corn
Corn, one of the representative summer snacks, is at its best in July. Rich in vitamin B complex, dietary fiber, and minerals, it promotes energy metabolism and aids digestion. Additionally, the antioxidant components in corn help prevent aging and boost immunity.

3. Branch
Eggplant, which is in season in July, is a popular ingredient among gourmets during the summer. Versatile in various dishes, eggplant is low in calories and high in dietary fiber, making it good for dieting. It is also rich in potassium, which helps regulate blood pressure. The purple pigment of eggplant contains a large amount of anthocyanins, which have antioxidant properties and are beneficial for health.

4. Overturning
Abalone is one of the freshest and most delicious seafoods in July. Abalone is a high-protein, low-fat food, particularly rich in arginine and taurine, making it good for recovery from fatigue and boosting immunity. Abalone can be used in various dishes, especially in abalone porridge or steamed abalone.

5. Hairtail
Cutlassfish is considered the most delicious fish in summer. It is rich in protein and low in fat, making it a healthy source of protein. Additionally, cutlassfish is abundant in omega-3 fatty acids, which help prevent cardiovascular diseases. It can be prepared in various ways, such as grilling or braising, making it a frequently served fish on summer tables.
