Apple

There is a saying that "an apple in the morning is a golden apple," highlighting the excellent health benefits of eating an apple in the morning. Eating an apple on an empty stomach stimulates the intestines, making bowel movements easier. In particular, eating the apple with the skin on is more helpful in preventing constipation because the apple skin is rich in dietary fiber called pectin. Pectin promotes the growth of beneficial bacteria in the intestines and helps eliminate harmful substances from the body through stool.

Tomato

Just before waking up, the sympathetic nervous system is activated. Therefore, anyone's blood pressure may slightly increase in the morning. Eating tomatoes at this time can help lower blood pressure because the lycopene and lutein in tomatoes contribute to this effect. To maximize the antioxidant effects of the compounds in tomatoes, it is better to cook them rather than eat them raw. Lycopene is better absorbed into the body when eaten with oil. However, if you want to maximize water-soluble nutrients such as vitamins and minerals, it is better to eat them raw.

Honey


A spoonful of honey in the morning provides energy and helps relieve fatigue. Honey is composed of over 80% monosaccharides, which are sugars that are quickly absorbed by the body and rapidly converted into energy. It also has the effect of promoting intestinal movement, helping to alleviate constipation. If eating it plain is difficult, mixing honey into a glass of warm water is a good option. However, it should be consumed in moderation. Excessive honey intake can excessively raise blood sugar levels and may lead to obesity and dyslipidemia.
