[Concern - Blood Sugar Management. Diet Food] I'm curious about the difference between roasted peanuts and peanut butter.
Hello.
These days, peanut butter seems to be very popular because it is said to be good for preventing blood sugar spikes. It is peanut butter made by grinding 100% peanuts without any added ingredients.
So I also tried purchasing it. As I ate it, I suddenly wondered, do I really have to eat ground peanut butter?
I wondered if just eating roasted peanuts is ineffective. So I looked it up on the internet here and there, but no one clearly explained the difference.
The information I found is that chewing nuts (peanuts) crunchy does not lead to a high fat absorption rate, which I also found on YouTube. So even if you eat a lot of nuts, you won't gain a lot of calories because they don't supply that much energy to your body, so you won't gain much weight.
So I was wondering if peanut butter, being well ground, has better absorption and leads to higher calorie intake. In that case, wouldn't eating plain peanuts be better for dieting than peanut butter? If anyone knows, please give a clear answer~~ Please let me know plainly.
