-
1kg of domestically grown peeled bellflower root
-
500g of honey
-
500g of honey syrup
Wash the fresh burdock under running water once and drain the excess water.
Put the bellflower root into the decoction pot.
I was thinking of cutting the long burdock and putting it in, but I decided to keep the root shape intact and put it in whole.
Prepare jocheong (sweet syrup) and honey to create a sweet flavor.
Some people make the ratio of bellflower root to malt syrup 1:1, but I made it with bellflower root, malt syrup, and honey in the proportions of 1kg:500g:500g.
Pour jocheong and honey over the bellflower root in a large circular motion.
Pour 600ml of water into the main body of the decoction machine.
Place the pot with bellflower root inside, and cover with the lid.
After opening the lid after 6 hours, the syrup and honey were fully absorbed into the balloon flower root.
When removing well-grown bellflowers, apply gentle force to prevent them from crumbling, then carefully take them out and transfer them to the dryer.
1kg of bellflower root is enough to dry into three bundles.
If you leave space between, four levels are enough.
Soybean powder is about 70% dried.
It is appropriate to cover it when it is done.
