(Health Tip) Our home's health guardian, Baking Soda!!

Everyone likes fruit, right?

Do you wash well before eating?

Sweet tips for washing fruits and vegetables that protect our family's health!

It's baking soda and vinegar.

Fruits, especially biological fruits coming from overseas

They come after being treated with pesticides or special chemicals.

I have to be careful when feeding the children.

I wash with eco-friendly cleaning agents like baking soda and vinegar. That way, I can be completely安心 that any remaining pesticides are gone~~~.

American cherries. Domestic cherry tomatoes.

These are the fruits I will eat for breakfast tomorrow morning for the kids' breakfast.

Add two spoons of baking soda and scrub until clean.

Recently, I am mixing baking soda and citric acid.

A child who washes more cleanly

We also wash fruits and use it when washing dishes.

There is also 100% single-ingredient baking soda~

Wash with baking soda and add a drop of vinegar at the end.

Rinse once more for peace of mind!!!

You all know that real vinegar is good to add when washing and rinsing laundry, right? Instead of fabric softener, add vinegar, and if the scent is lacking, add a drop of aroma oil. That way, it smells nice, protects skin health, and is good for you~

Looking into the benefits of baking soda~

Baking soda benefits

1) Neutralization function

Baking soda has a mild alkaline property. Kitchen grease and most stubborn stains are acidic.

When baking soda, an alkaline substance, is mixed with water and applied to acidic grease, it neutralizes the acid and becomes easy to wash away with water.

It neutralizes acidic contaminants such as grease, food residues, and sweat, making them easier to remove.

Cleaning a stove that has become messy from overflowing food can be easily solved with baking soda.

If you wet the gas stove slightly with water, sprinkle baking soda powder, and then wipe it with a soft scrubber, it will become clean quickly.

Burnt pots can be cleaned by boiling them with baking soda and water for about 15 minutes.

2) Polishing function

Baking soda, a natural detergent, has fine particles that clean thoroughly without scratching dishes or other surfaces.

By substituting with kitchen or cleaning detergents, you can use it cleanly and safely without scratches.

3) Dehumidification function

Baking soda has dehumidifying properties and helps to some extent in controlling moisture.

4) Odor absorption and cleaning function

Baking soda has the ability to absorb odors.

Spraying it on shoe racks or smelly sink drains helps eliminate odors.

When your shoes have a strong odor, remove the insoles and sprinkle baking soda powder inside to eliminate the smell.

Please remove the baking soda powder before putting on your shoes~

When there is a strong smell coming from the drain, sprinkle baking soda into the drain and then pour hot water. It will bubble and foam, disinfect, and eliminate the odor.

5) Oil adsorption function

Baking soda adsorbs oil, making it easy to remove, and helps eliminate stubborn grease stains.

This is very useful when washing stainless steel kitchenware for the first time.

After applying cooking oil or similar substances to the stainless steel, add baking soda and hot water, or if using a pot, boil it for about 10 minutes, then wash with dish soap to remove the abrasive agents from the stainless steel.

2. Precautions When Using Baking Soda

Do not use baking soda in aluminum bowls as it causes them to turn black.

Baking soda can be distinguished between those made for cleaning and those made for consumption.

Cleaning baking soda is not for consumption.

Please purchase and use it according to its intended purpose.

3. Baking Soda Usage Tips and Various Applications

1) Baking soda powder

Store baking soda powder in a small container and use it as needed.

If there is a smell coming from the drain or sink, spraying a little and pouring water can help to some extent in removing the odor.

Sprinkling it when doing the dishes helps remove grease stains, and adding it during laundry also aids in removing stubborn dirt.

Mix with baking soda water to make it thick.

Add water gradually to the baking soda and dissolve it. (Ratio of 2 spoons of baking soda to 1 spoon of water)

Make it slightly sticky and use it where needed.

By creating this, you can easily remove stubborn stains, mold, and food residue from clothes.

3) How to make baking soda water spray

Dissolve baking soda powder in water, put it into a spray bottle, and spray it on the areas where needed.

Spraying in smelly or dirty places and then cleaning up is very convenient.

Add 5 grams of baking soda to 100 ml of water with 5% baking soda, then shake well to dissolve.

4. Baking soda fruit wash

You can use baking soda to remove pesticides and wash fruits like apples, lemons, and tangerines more thoroughly.

1) Place the fruit in a bowl and sprinkle baking soda.

2) Put on rubber gloves and use a sponge to repeatedly rub baking soda on the fruit.

3) After filling with water, soak the fruit in baking soda solution for 5 to 10 minutes.

4) After washing with clean water, dry it.

Baking soda fruit cleaning is really easy, isn't it?

Fruits like grapes or strawberries should be soaked in baking soda and carbonated water for about 2 to 3 minutes, then rinsed under running water.

Don't soak it for too long~

5. Baking soda laundry

Washing with only baking soda may reduce cleaning effectiveness.

Adding a little baking soda to your laundry detergent when washing will complement each other and make stain removal much more effective.

Alternatively, if you want to wash only with natural detergents, you can do so by adding baking soda and washing soda well dissolved in warm water.

Baking soda + sodium percarbonate = 2:1 ratio

(Health Tip) Our home's health guardian, Baking Soda!!

Detergent with sodium percarbonate contains bleaching agents, so caution is needed as it may cause color fading of colored clothes.

If the fabric requires a neutral detergent, do not use slightly alkaline baking soda~
