A review of hormone therapy and consistent consumption of organic foods for treatment of endometriosis symptoms
I have had irregular periods and severe pain for a long time, but at some point, the pelvic pain became so intense that it started before my period and continued during and after my period. The pain extended to my lower abdomen, pelvis, and down to my thighs, so I went to the hospital and was diagnosed with endometriosis by the doctor. I had no choice but to undergo hormone treatment for endometriosis, and I gradually improved by asking the doctor questions and eating vaginal probiotics, good plant-based, organic foods. Endometriosis is a condition where tissue that normally grows inside the uterus grows outside of it. Usually, when I am stressed or overexerted, my periods become irregular and I experience intense pain, sometimes to the point where daily life becomes impossible. Endometriosis can cause changes in the menstrual cycle, such as abnormal bleeding, shorter or longer cycles than usual, and heavy bleeding, like I experienced. Also, perhaps because of endometriosis, I often felt full even though I didn't eat much. It is said that instead of suppressing or artificially controlling menstruation, it is better to restore health so that the uterus and ovaries can naturally regulate and expel menstrual blood properly. However, due to severe bilateral pelvic pain caused by endometriosis, I initially received hormone therapy, but estrogen induces atrophy of the endometrial tissue and promotes bleeding in response to stimulation. Since some recommend vaginal probiotics for endometriosis, I took SeNAR vaginal probiotics, which are popular among women. They contain calcium and collagen, as well as vaginal probiotics, Lactobacillus plantarum, fructooligosaccharides, and a blend of 22 strains of probiotics, which I found beneficial. Additionally, I ate a lot of salmon, nuts, and broccoli, hoping to help reduce swelling, regulate estrogen production, and strengthen the immune system to aid in treating endometriosis. Certainly, I think that eating good plant-based, organic foods and taking time to gradually recover my body is a good approach.
