Overcoming Morning Sickness: My Real-Life Experience
The hardest thing during pregnancy was morning sickness.
Morning sickness symptoms can manifest in many different ways, but for me, they're particularly severe in the morning. In this article, I'd like to share my honest experience with morning sickness and how I overcame it.
When morning sickness began, I couldn't eat my usual favorite foods, and I frequently experienced recurring nausea. As morning sickness worsened, my physical strength also plummeted, making daily life quite uncomfortable. Morning sickness in particular made my stomach more sensitive and I became more sensitive to smells, which was the most difficult part.
Morning sickness symptoms vary greatly from person to person, with some experiencing severe symptoms while others find it mild. In my case, I tried to manage my symptoms by eating small amounts frequently. Eating foods and hydrating myself with fluids that alleviate symptoms also helped significantly, and I learned that getting enough rest, appropriate for my symptoms, is crucial.
I was stressed out by my morning sickness, but after consulting with a local obstetrician/gynecologist, I felt more at ease and was able to manage it better. The obstetrician/gynecologist kindly explained various methods and nutritional supplements to help alleviate the symptoms, and I found it very helpful.
Morning sickness is a difficult experience for everyone, but it manifests differently depending on each person's physical condition, so it's important not to worry too much and to monitor your symptoms closely. I, too, will continue to prepare for morning sickness and take care of my health.
