서럽지만 알아두어야 할 정보 감사합니다
Since I am in my mid-40s, I think I am experiencing menopausal symptoms, and I searched to see if this is correct.
I thought it would be good to share this with you.
What is menopause?
As women age, their ovaries undergo aging, leading to a decrease in ovulation and female hormone production, ultimately resulting in menopause.
Menopause usually occurs around the age of 50, but some women experience it earlier than 50, and there are also cases where menopause occurs later than this age.
Since the duration varies for each individual, it is important to understand your own physical condition well and respond appropriately.
This period, after complete cessation of menstruation for about a year, is called menopause. During this time, hormonal changes can cause various menopausal symptoms in women, so appropriate coping and management in daily life are necessary.
Menopausal symptoms
(Physical changes)
The regular menstrual cycle and flow become irregular, leading to the absence of menstruation for over a year and progressing to menopause.
Along with changes in the menstrual cycle, women may experience symptoms of menopause such as hot flashes in the upper body and face, sweating, palpitations, and sleep disturbances. Additionally, a decrease in female hormones can reduce bone density, increasing the risk of osteoporosis, and may also cause muscle and bone pain.
(Psychological change)
Various psychological changes also occur as symptoms of menopause in women. Similarly, due to the decrease in female hormones, the autonomic nervous system becomes imbalanced, leading to severe mood swings.
Feelings of anxiety and depression may come over you, and your nerves can become sharp and sensitive. Various menopausal symptoms in women, such as loss of confidence and forgetfulness, can occur.
Everyday life management
1) Having breakfast
To manage early menopausal symptoms, it is important to maintain regular eating and lifestyle habits. Make sure to have at least a simple breakfast.
2) Replenishing minerals
You need to supplement various nutrients necessary for bone health. Calcium-rich foods such as dairy products, beans, seeds, oysters, and broccoli are high in calcium, so be sure to include them in your diet.
Please note that supplementing magnesium and phosphorus along with calcium can also help maintain bone health.
3) Embracing change
It is important to have an attitude that accepts the early symptoms of menopause as a natural phenomenon.
Maintaining a proper weight through a balanced diet and regular exercise, along with establishing healthy sleep habits and engaging in various hobbies to prevent stress buildup, can also have a positive effect.
Let's understand menopause well and have a healthy menopause.
