[Honest King] Myungji The Spring Eye Clinic Honest Review: Eye Discomfort Treatment
The visit was three days ago.
It was my second visit, except for the first visit when the hospital first opened in 2016. When I visited for the first time, it had only been open for a short time, so there were too many patients.
And the doctor was extremely, extremely kind. The explanation was very detailed and thorough. The doctor was so good that I could even say it was excessive kindness. The nurses were all also very kind and cheerful.
However, because there were too many people, I decided not to go. At that time, even with a reservation, I had to wait at least 30 minutes. That many people visited.
It has been quite some time since the opening, and as the ophthalmology department has settled in, it has moved to a different building and looks different.
I started feeling discomfort in my eyes five days ago, along with a foreign body sensation. It was so uncomfortable that I had no choice but to visit without an appointment. Originally, it was a reservation system, so I called to ask for understanding before visiting, and fortunately, I was told I could visit without an appointment, so I arrived immediately. Up until then, everything was fine.
However, I felt uncomfortable during the registration process.
Since it's been such a long time since your last visit and I understand that you ask many questions to check your eye condition regularly. However, it was uncomfortable to have to listen to each of those questions at the reception desk and answer them one by one.
I think there were about ten questions, and sometimes I might not think of the answer immediately after receiving a question. When I hesitated for about 1 or 2 seconds, the person sitting at the desk looked a bit serious and seemed annoyed as they responded. After that, they started asking questions with an even more expressionless and blunt tone. They weren't very friendly from the beginning when I first registered, though... hmm...
I was sitting in the waiting room, answering as best as I could.
It wasn't long before I was called, and the doctor's consultation began. The doctor was still very kind.
The explanation was detailed and easy for patients to understand, and the treatment was done neatly and well. I felt that the staff cared a lot about the patients during the consultation. As expected, it was good. The treatment was satisfactory and ended on a pleasant note, so I went to the reception desk, but the nurse who initially took my registration gave me the prescription with a blank and blunt expression again and processed the payment. Upon observing her more, I realized she seemed to naturally have a blank and blunt demeanor. So, as I left the hospital, I felt an inexplicable discomfort. The consultation was pleasant, but there was an inexplicable uneasiness...
A point of regret
The doctor is very kind and nice, but I wish the person sitting at the desk was a bit more cheerful.
It's the first time you enter the hospital, and it would be even better if you could smile a little and be friendly.
And I think it would be better to prepare a questionnaire rather than asking questions directly. For those who find it difficult to prepare a questionnaire, face-to-face questioning is appropriate, but in all cases, asking questions directly can be inconvenient because there are too many questions and it requires standing for a long time.
I think there are many concerns because there are questions I need to consider.
