Lately, I feel like I am causing myself more stress and suffering.

Many people strive to find ways to become happier. Experts say, "Happiness does not mean the absence of negative emotions or the presence of many positive emotions," and that "happiness is about pursuing a life with meaning and purpose and living according to one's values."

The aspects of happiness that people dream of may differ, but there are changes and habits that can lead us to a more joyful path. Experts say, "Simple changes in lifestyle habits can have a profound impact on mental health." Based on sources such as the American health and medical media 'Prevention,' we have compiled habits that can enhance daily joy and a sense of achievement.

|Taking care of the body and mind|

Being grateful in all things=While it may seem that happiness gives us gratitude, in reality, it can work the other way around. Practicing gratitude can motivate us to feel more positive emotions and make healthier choices. Specifically, one way is to keep a 'gratitude journal.'

 

Regular exercise = While everyone knows that exercise is good for the body, do you also know that it is good for the mind? There are numerous studies showing that exercise helps improve mental health. Exercise releases endorphins that affect mood, and regular exercise can lead to a sense of achievement and confidence.

Research shows that dehydration due to fluid deficiency can negatively affect mood and cognitive processes.

Enjoyable activities = Make a list of activities that bring joy and happiness to yourself, and practice one of them every day. Creating a list of activities such as walking, visiting your favorite cafe, etc., can help on tiring days.

|Stress Management|

Deep breathing = a good way to reduce stress and find your center.

Being kind to yourself = Maintaining personal growth and healthy habits requires a lot of effort. When you fail, be gentle with yourself.

Spending time outdoors, such as walking in parks or being close to nature, can enhance happiness. Experts say, "When we are in nature, we tend to forget ourselves and our problems," adding, "In this process, not only does stress decrease, but stepping back from our issues can also help us see problems from a different perspective."

Mindfulness training = brewing coffee, taking a shower, or simply being present in the moment and savoring exactly what that moment is. Daily mindfulness helps you handle the rest of the day calmly and positively.
