Earlier, Lee Seung-chul had undergone a male hormone test on a variety show, and his levels had improved compared to the past. He also added, "Even if I drink alcohol, I make sure to detox the next day," and explained, "I wear a sweat suit and run for 30 minutes, and just that makes my body feel different."

 

In fact, by training the lower body through exercise like Lee Seung-chul, you can activate the secretion of testosterone, a male hormone. Muscles contain an enzyme called DHEA, which converts it into male hormones. DHEA is an intermediate substance that can be transformed into male hormones, and it also has the potential to become other hormones. This incomplete DHEA is produced in the adrenal glands, circulates throughout the body, and can be converted into male hormones within muscles after encountering various enzymes. Moreover, strength training improves blood circulation in the lower body, making it effective for erectile function and stamina.

 

However, excessive exercise can actually decrease sperm motility, so caution is needed. A Japanese research team found that men who exercise intensely have reduced sperm activity. The researchers explained that excessive exercise suppresses the secretion of testosterone, which is involved in sperm production. Additionally, when high-intensity exercise causes a rapid increase in body temperature, the temperature of the testes, where sperm is stored, rises, leading to decreased sperm motility. Therefore, exercise should be limited to a level that does not cause fatigue the next day.

 

Meanwhile, it is good to start with light aerobic exercise the day after drinking. About 30 to 40 minutes of aerobic exercise helps improve blood circulation, which aids in eliminating residual waste and toxins from the body. Doing strength training immediately after drinking can overtax the liver and body, which are already tired from alcohol metabolism, so caution is advised. When performing strength exercises after drinking, it is important to start with movements that do not strain the body, use light weights to check your condition, and then proceed with the workout to prevent injuries.
