"Drinking this beverage will make you lose weight" Cha Jung-won... Why is it dangerous to drink frequently?
Dalkomi is dangerous.
Actor Cha Jung-won (35) eased her fatigue by drinking a latte with syrup.
On the 19th, a video titled "Where Does Cha Jung-won Shop? Visited Hannam-dong Boutique Shops and Restaurants :)" was uploaded to the YouTube channel "Oroji, Jung-won." In the video, Cha Jung-won appears tired after shopping and says, "Actually, my stamina is really bad, so it's hard," adding, "Normally, I would be done after visiting one place, but I went to several places and got exhausted." She then says, "I'll have a cup of coffee and go home," and "I need to drink some caffeine to get some energy and endure." After ordering an iced vanilla latte, Cha Jung-won takes a sip and says, "I think I can buy it now," and "I usually don't drink vanilla lattes, but today I'm so exhausted and my energy is low, so I think I need to drink one." The vanilla latte Cha Jung-won drank is made by mixing milk and coffee with vanilla syrup or powder. It has a high sugar content and is preferred by people who like sweet coffee. Why does drinking a vanilla latte, like Cha Jung-won did, make it feel as if one's energy is restored? Let's explore the health effects of lattes.
Drinking coffee frequently reduces its stimulating effect.
First, drinking coffee can provide an alertness effect due to the action of caffeine, but the more frequently and heavily you drink, the more tolerance you develop to caffeine, which reduces its alertness effect. The caffeine in coffee blocks the adenosine component that causes fatigue and drowsiness, producing an alertness effect. This is because caffeine binds to adenosine receptors instead of adenosine, preventing signals of sleepiness from reaching the brain. However, if you continue to drink coffee, the number of adenosine receptors in the body increases, which can actually induce drowsiness. The time and degree it takes for caffeine to be metabolized vary from person to person. In most cases, the alertness effect gradually diminishes after more than two hours of intake, but caffeine can remain in the body for up to 12 hours, so people who have difficulty metabolizing caffeine regularly may experience impaired sleep quality if they drink coffee in the afternoon. The recommended daily coffee intake for an average adult is less than four cups (400mg of caffeine). Pregnant women should limit their intake to two cups (200mg of caffeine) or less, and adolescents are advised to consume no more than one cup (100mg of caffeine).
Latte with syrup, high in calories and sugar
Lattes with syrup are high in calories, sugar, and saturated fat, making them sweet foods. The Korea Consumer Agency investigated 29 coffee products with added syrups such as vanilla and caramel, and found that each cup contained an average of 37g (ranging from 14g to 65g) of sugars. The average calorie content was 285 kcal (ranging from 184 to 538 kcal). When we feel the sweetness, the immediate pleasure stimulates the brain's reward circuit, and sugar can cause addiction, so we should be cautious as the intensity of the sweetness we consume gradually increases. Lattes contain milk, which also contributes to high saturated fat content. A 360mL latte contains about 7g of saturated fat, which is approximately six times more than the saturated fat in a single packet of coffee mix. The typical saturated fats in lattes mainly have carbon chains longer than 12 atoms. These long-chain fatty acids, when absorbed in the intestines, combine three fatty acids with one glycerol to form triglycerides, which are neutral fats and insoluble in water. Excessive intake can lead to accumulation in blood vessels and the liver, potentially causing cancer, cardiovascular diseases, obesity, and diabetes.
