These days, many people choose their food carefully for health reasons, but in fact... just as delicious food can be harmful to the body...

Even though I know well, I still have trouble eating selectively.

They say that eating this kind of food makes your skin look older.

Refined flour and sugar

White bread made from highly refined flour actually contains a large amount of sugar, not to mention refined white sugar. These refined sugars bind with proteins or fats in the bloodstream to form advanced glycation end products (AGEs). These toxins derived from sugar are also called 'sugar toxins.' Sugar toxins are not broken down in the body and remain, promoting oxidative reactions that accelerate aging. In particular, they promote skin aging by inducing changes in collagen, noticeably reducing skin elasticity.

Margarine that contains a large amount of trans fats, which raise bad cholesterol (LDL) and lower good cholesterol (HDL), is a food that accelerates the aging of the body. It can also cause problems with brain function and cardiovascular health. Additionally, it can trigger inflammatory responses throughout the body. Moreover, it is said to make the skin more vulnerable to ultraviolet rays. Margarine causes aging not only in terms of bodily functions but also from a beauty perspective!

Carbonated drinks and energy drinks

The more frequently and heavily you consume carbonated drinks and energy drinks, the faster your body's cells age. These beverages also contain large amounts of sugar. Sugar combines with bacteria in the mouth, leading to tooth damage. Since teeth age the slowest in the body, they are considered the most adversely affected by these foods. Additionally, due to sugar and calorie content, weight can increase rapidly. The risk of stroke and dementia also rises.

Processed meat

Although it has eased compared to the past, most processed meat products contain sulfites, preservatives, and sodium. These are the main culprits to avoid when it comes to processed meats. Sulfites are chemicals that are linked to chronic diseases, including cancer. They can also cause skin inflammation. Additionally, the salt content is higher than in regular foods, which can make you look five years older.

Alcohol

As expected, alcohol is the problem. Alcohol is particularly directly linked to skin aging. When you drink alcohol, your body produces a large amount of dehydrogenase to break down the alcohol, leading to dehydration. This is why people who usually feel dryness experience even more dryness when they drink alcohol. Dry skin easily loses elasticity. The wrinkles that were already there become deeper.

    몸에 안 좋은 음식들인데 맛은 참 맛있는 음식들이죠. 끊을 수가 없는 음식들이에요. 특히 빵! 어떻게 끊죠?ㅠ 가공육을 어떻게 안 먹을 수가 있나요? 아예 안 먹을 순 없고... 제가 참 좋아하는 음식들이거든요. 이제부터 건강을 위해서라도 좀 자제해 보도록 해야겠네요.
