When a myocardial infarction occurs, the patient becomes extremely anxious and restless, and their level of consciousness may decline. Other symptoms include cold sweats, vomiting, stomach pain, and loss of appetite.

 

If a myocardial infarction occurs, you should remain as still as possible, call 119, and go to a large hospital. It's best not to harbor vague expectations that your symptoms will improve. It's also important to avoid wasting time visiting private hospitals, pharmacies, or Korean medicine clinics. Seeking treatment at a hospital capable of primary coronary intervention as soon as possible is crucial to preventing myocardial necrosis.

 

The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency advised, "If severe chest pain lasts for more than 30 minutes and is accompanied by cold sweat, there is a high possibility that an acute myocardial infarction has occurred," and "You should quickly visit the emergency room of a hospital and receive an accurate diagnosis through an electrocardiogram and cardiac enzyme test."
