Is flour really bad for your health?? What if you consume it healthily??

The first step in diet management when starting a diet is probably avoiding wheat flour.

Actually, our perception is that flour is bad for health.

There seems to be a strong perception that eating a lot of flour causes atopic dermatitis.

Because of these perceptions, there are people who avoid eating flour, and many others who consume it cautiously. But is it possible to consume this flour healthily?

 

Is flour really bad for your health?? What if you consume it healthily??

 

The refined flour we commonly refer to can potentially cause obesity and chronic diseases when used to prepare food.

This is because it lacks dietary fiber, vitamins, and minerals, resulting in the removal of most nutrients and leaving primarily carbohydrates, which is an unhealthy state.

Bread, snacks, noodles, and other processed foods made from this flour become foods that add calories and transform into items that cause obesity as sugar, butter, and sodium are added.

 

What diseases might follow if you eat a lot of these foods?

 

If you have gluten sensitivity, irritable bowel syndrome, celiac disease, or similar conditions, consuming flour may cause uncomfortable gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, and bloating. Therefore, if you have these conditions or feel uncomfortable after eating flour, it is recommended to avoid foods containing gluten.

Then, is it possible to eat flour healthily??

I think we can consider whole wheat as a substitute for flour.

Whole wheat is said to contribute to maintaining the body's electrolyte balance because it is richer in calcium, phosphorus, potassium, and iron compared to refined flour.

However, the rice cake is rough and dry, so it may be harder to eat compared to refined flour.

Still, if you think about health, wouldn't it be healthier to choose food over refined wheat flour?

 

 

When I think about it, I love noodles and bread, so I love flour.

I think I should try to reduce my flour intake from now on... ^^

    저는 밀가루가 몸에 안맞는지 가끔은 알레르기 반응이 오더라구요. 그런데 통밀빵은 안그래요~
    밀가루가 아좋긴 한가봐요. 되도록이면 건강에 좋은 통밀로 먹도록 하면 좋겠네요~~^^
