메니에르병 이라는게 있군요 후기 잘보고갑니다
I went to the hospital due to symptoms of Meniere's disease.
Suddenly, I experienced dizziness and vomiting during Chuseok.
I hurried to the hospital after the holiday ended because I suspected I had Meniere's disease.
I am writing a review after experiencing symptoms of Meniere's disease and undergoing hospital examinations.
I was planning to wake up on Chuseok without any premonitory symptoms, but suddenly I experienced dizziness, vomited, and also heard ringing in my ears.
At first, I thought it was benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. The dizziness was so severe. The dizziness was on a different level from normal dizziness, so it was very frightening and difficult.
I couldn't do anything because I felt dizzy and my stomach was churning.
I couldn't eat at all because I felt nauseous.
Although the symptoms were severe, I couldn't go to the hospital because it was Chuseok, so I just stayed in bed all day. During the holiday, I seemed to get a little better and was planning not to visit the hospital, but I thought it might be Meniere's disease, so I decided to go to the hospital. It was too painful and frightening to ignore and think I was okay.
The hospital was very crowded after the holiday, making it difficult to make an appointment and causing long wait times.
The symptoms of Meniere's disease include dizziness and nausea, but fundamentally, it is characterized by hearing problems.
Therefore, Meniere's disease is diagnosed through hearing tests.
It was a hearing test similar to the one conducted during a general health checkup, but the sounds were heard a bit quieter.
It wasn't a scary or difficult test. ^^
Just in case, we also conducted a BPPV (benign paroxysmal positional vertigo) test.
If symptoms appear, don't ignore them and go to the hospital immediately, because about 80% of early-stage Ménière's disease cases can naturally recover.
And with medication treatment for Meniere's disease, dizziness symptoms can be somewhat alleviated, but it may not be effective for issues related to hearing loss.
Losing hearing function would really be a big problem!
Therefore, if Ménière's disease is suspected, you must visit the hospital without hesitation!
Fortunately, my test results indicate that I do not have Meniere's disease... I was really relieved.
Still, just in case, I have received the medication prescription.
It's been about a week since the symptoms appeared, but fortunately, there are no signs of them worsening or becoming more severe..!
