Put an egg in a mug and fill it with water
You can simply use a mug. Put one egg into the mug and fill it with water.

Next, place the mug along with the pot in one corner.
Boiling
Then close the lid and boil for 12 minutes, the usual hard-boiled time.
This method was introduced on TV. If you do it this way, you can cook both hard-boiled and soft-boiled eggs at the same time with just one pot!

If you briefly open the pot lid during boiling, you can see that the boiling temperature is different, right?
They are cooked for the same amount of time, but the eggs in the pot become fully cooked while the eggs in the mug remain soft-boiled^^
