Concerns about quitting smoking and drinking alcohol

I have been a heavy smoker and drinker since I was young. So much so that I made a bet with my friends about how long we could drink, and I drank for about 210 days. I stopped only when I went to enlist. At that time, my alcohol tolerance was over 8 bottles, so looking back, I think I was crazy. Now that I am in my mid-forties and starting to experience health issues, I am very worried. ㅜㅜ

First, I haven't smoked urgently for nearly four years since I quit smoking.

Everyone says quitting smoking is really difficult, but I didn't quit that hard. I kept reminding myself that smoking could kill me and tried to stick to it, so I quit. Even while playing billiards, I didn't think about cigarettes much. Haha

But alcohol issues were really not easy. During the COVID-19 period, the drinking culture at work changed a lot, and work dinners almost disappeared, creating a better environment for abstinence. However, in a state where the joy of life has disappeared, I end up drinking at least twice a week. Because of binge drinking, I hardly drink outside and usually watch movies at home while controlling my alcohol intake, but what is the best way to abstain?? ㅜㅜ
