Excessive sugar intake

 

Excessive intake of sugars such as sugar can interfere with collagen synthesis, reducing skin elasticity and causing wrinkles. Additionally, consuming foods high in sugar excessively can lead to obesity. In particular, sweetened carbonated drinks have been recognized as a major factor in promoting cellular aging. There are also research findings indicating that people who frequently consume carbonated beverages are at a higher risk of developing metabolic diseases.

 

Do not use sunscreen

 

Sunlight is essential for vitamin D synthesis, but exposure to sunlight can damage the skin. When exposed to sunlight, skin elasticity decreases, wrinkles form, and freckles appear, accelerating skin aging. When going out, it is essential to apply sunscreen, and it is also recommended to use sunscreen on cloudy days or indoors.

One of the causes that accelerates aging is the stress hormone cortisol. Cortisol worsens depression and anxiety, impairs prefrontal cortex function, and reduces sleep quality. When cortisol levels rise, metabolic diseases develop, leading to a protruding belly, and insulin resistance accelerates cellular aging, thereby promoting aging.
