Symptoms experienced by women who frequently consume zero-calorie drinks
A study has found that women who frequently consume beverages containing artificial sweeteners may have an increased risk of urinary incontinence. Artificial sweeteners are chemically synthesized substances used to produce sweetness instead of sugar, with 'aspartame' and 'acesulfame potassium' being typical examples found in zero-calorie drinks.
A research team from Yale University School of Medicine in the United States conducted a study to investigate the correlation between the consumption of artificially sweetened beverages and urinary incontinence.
As a result, women who drink artificially sweetened beverages 1 to 6 times a week have a 10% higher incidence of urinary incontinence compared to women who do not drink at all or drink less than once a week. Women who drink more than once a day have a 12% higher incidence of urinary incontinence.

I heard from others that drinking zero-calorie beverages frequently can lead to more trips to the bathroom, and there are actually research findings that support this.
