I visited PNU Busan Eye Clinic, which provides thorough medical care :)

Yesterday, I had a stye and bought medicine at the pharmacy.

However, as time went on, there was no sign of improvement, and my eyes became more swollen. ㅠㅠ

 

 

This morning, when I woke up, my eyes were swollen and painful, so I rushed to the ophthalmologist.

My ophthalmology clinic is PNU Busan Eye Clinic located in Oncheonjang, Busan.

PNU Busan Eye Clinic opened last year, so the interior was extremely clean and spacious.

The 6th and 7th floors of the building are ophthalmology. The 6th floor has outpatient clinics and a testing center, while the 7th floor is designated for surgery and inpatient care.

 

 

 

Even though the clinic starts at 9 o'clock, I arrived around 8:45, but there were four patients ahead of me.

Fortunately, there were two specialists available, so I waited about 10 minutes and was able to receive treatment.

The doctor looked into my eyes, flipped my eyelids inside out, and pressed firmly to squeeze out the pus.

I was in so much pain that tears came to my eyes naturally, and I almost screamed.

Then, she told me how to apply ointment and emphasized that I should do warm compresses 3 to 4 times a day.

 

Then I received infrared therapy and was prescribed medication before leaving.

 

You need to have another check-up in a week, and if the swelling hasn't gone down or there is still pus, they say it needs to be cut.ㅠㅠ

He told me that a stye is like a pimple on the eye. He said not to touch it as much as possible and that it would take a few days to heal.

Swimming, saunas, and wearing contact lenses are all prohibited until you fully recover.

I'm so sad that I have to take a break from swimming, which I love, but to recover quickly, I think I should rest for a few days and take good care of myself.

 

After coming home, I took the prescribed antibiotics, applied eye drops, and did warm compresses on my eyes with a warm towel, so the swelling has gone down much faster than in the morning and the pain has also greatly decreased.

 

 

I should have gone directly to the ophthalmology clinic yesterday instead of going to the pharmacy.

Certainly, the swelling around the eyes has significantly decreased compared to the morning photo!!

 

The doctor kindly explained everything well, so I am very satisfied with the treatment I received.

When you're sick, don't hold back and go straight to the hospital! I recommend it!
