(Helpful Tip) Small tips to help with eye health
My face is dry, but strangely, my eyelids and scalp sometimes get oily and break out.
Sometimes you get a stye in your eye.
I'm not sure if there are other cases, but as far as I know, a stye is caused by oil not being properly discharged and getting blocked, leading to an infection. In simple terms, it's like acne that occurs on the conjunctiva of the eye.
Usually, you go to the hospital, take medicine, get injections, and if it doesn't work, you might even have it cut.
When blinking, it feels like a stye. In such cases, quickly apply warm compresses. Use a hot water bag or hot pack wrapped in a towel, and apply it for a long time~~. Do this for about 5 to 10 minutes, then rest for a while. If the feeling of a stye persists, repeat several times.
Then you won't need to go to the hospital. You won't even need to take medicine.
And every time you visit the ophthalmologist, do you get a prescription for artificial tears?? Many people use them when their eyes feel dry or itchy. I see many questions about whether it's okay to reopen and use the unopened ones from previous posts.
It's a big problem.
Artificial tears are for single use. Once opened, they should be used once and discarded. Bacterial growth can occur, leading to a more serious infection.
If my eyes feel itchy or dry, I put two or three drops into my eyes to let them flow freely. It's like rinsing them out. Usually, people just put one drop and blink to finish, but try rinsing them out like I do, then put in one more drop to finish. The symptoms are much less. And by doing this, you can use up the entire bottle without any leftovers. Haha.
