Allergic conjunctivitis

My children are having a very hard time during the seasonal change, especially when transitioning from winter to spring, due to allergic rhinitis and conjunctivitis. They suffer daily from coughs, runny noses, and watery eyes.

When pollen, yellow dust, or fine dust come into contact with the eyes, they cause itching, leading to frequent rubbing, and since the hands are exposed to a lot of dirt, the eyes are always bloodshot. In severe cases, I have to visit the hospital due to conjunctivitis. So, I give allergy medication as a preventive measure when the itching, sneezing, and runny nose become severe, and the symptoms tend to improve. The problem is that I worry about giving medication too often. I try to reduce medication by leaving the symptoms untreated, but eventually, I have to go to the hospital and give medication again. It seems like a vicious cycle. They say it's an unavoidable reaction when exposed to allergens... but I can't just move to the countryside either... It's frustrating. I wonder if it will get better as they grow up...
