Slight eye crust??

I find glasses uncomfortable, so I usually wear contact lenses. Even when I remove my lenses at night to wash my face, I feel like something is in my eyes. When I look closely, I see a long, crusty thing like a little eye booger, which is uncomfortable. I'm curious if others experience the same.
