I came to check for symptoms of tearing.

From some point on, I started having symptoms of tears flowing or collecting in my eyes.
This isn't terribly uncomfortable, but it's not a common symptom, so I was feeling quite uncomfortable.
I went to an ophthalmologist, had my tearing symptoms checked, was prescribed eye drops, and am currently observing.
It wasn't that bad, but I was embarrassed and a little confused because I didn't know that it would cause me discomfort and tears.
Because I never thought tears would cause so much discomfort.
I don't think I felt any discomfort because the symptoms of tears that occasionally flowed would disappear quickly if I just wiped them away.
But now, the symptom of tears flowing seems to appear occasionally for no reason.
It's a bit ambiguous whether to say that tears are welling up or flowing.
Anyway, I visited the hospital because I had symptoms of tears continuously flowing from only one eye.
I had various tests done at the hospital.
They said there was nothing particularly abnormal and there were no suspicious findings.
So, he prescribed a simple eye drop and told me to wait and see.
In cases of symptoms such as tears flowing, he said there is no particular pain or discomfort and it does not seem to cause any problems.
I personally looked into it a bit and found that it could be because the tear ducts are blocked.
The doctor who examined me said that I didn't actually have those symptoms.
First, I got a prescription for eye drops and came back.
Currently, I put eye drops in my eyes before going to bed.
I can't feel any improvement in the tearfulness yet, but since it's only been a few days, I'm going to wait and see.
I wonder if any of you have experienced these symptoms.
It's not really a problem, but I'm worried about how to manage this symptom of constantly shedding tears.
