Four efforts for treating reflux esophagitis

Gastroesophageal reflux disease is a common symptom among modern people these days!

So, I want to share the things I tried to treat reflux esophagitis!

Recently, many people have been struggling with quick eating habits, liking spicy or salty刺激 foods, and frequently experiencing stress, alcohol consumption, and smoking.

Early-stage reflux esophagitis is often underestimated because its symptoms are usually mild, such as slight heartburn.

As it becomes chronic and worsens, the symptoms are not mild but feel like a burning sensation all the way to the throat, and the throat becomes so dry that it feels like it will tear, making daily life very difficult, especially at night, when I can't sleep.

So, it's really better to prepare in advance for reflux esophagitis!

1. Correcting unhealthy eating habits!

Consuming coffee, spicy foods, greasy foods, carbonated drinks, and alcohol can really stimulate stomach acid, so it's best to avoid them!

Therefore, when experiencing symptoms of acid reflux, it is good to include foods like cabbage, broccoli, and potatoes in your meals to help alleviate the symptoms.

In addition, honey, low-fat meats, and bananas also provide great help.

 

2. Never lie down after eating

It's really because of always eating and lying down, I ended up getting reflux esophagitis.

Really, I remember having a hard time for a while because I thought this habit was easy.

It is better to lie down at least 1 to 2 hours later. Also, I think it's really good not to consume food or drinks before going to bed.

 

3. Maintaining weight

Being overweight also has some influence on reflux esophagitis.

Pressure applied to the abdomen with a lot of fat causes stomach acid to reflux, which can affect reflux esophagitis.

So, I think it's good to maintain health consistently and avoid overeating.

 

4. Prescription medication..

If it becomes really serious, I think a little relief through medication prescription would be good.

I think it's best not to eat too often and to only eat once in a serious situation.

 

Gastroesophageal reflux disease can be greatly alleviated just by improving eating habits, so let's work on it together.
