Gastroenteritis~It can happen even in winter;

It was a cold winter about two years ago~

My husband came home after work, ate the leftover pork from the previous day, and spent a difficult night with diarrhea and vomiting all night.

Thought I just had indigestion the next day, went to the pharmacy, took the medicine, and thought I would be okay.

I understand, but I'm in so much pain that I have to take an ambulance to the emergency room.

It has been done.

They said to get medication there and visit again tomorrow for treatment.

I visited the hospital again the next day to receive proper treatment.

I didn't have a high fever, but I had a slight fever, so I took a COVID test, and luckily it was negative.

The consultation wasn't smooth back then.

I also had blood tests and various other examinations.

Maybe because I had a lot of stomach pain, I also had an abdominal CT scan.

The diagnosis was enteritis.

I never imagined I would get gastroenteritis in the middle of winter.

The inflammation level is too high, so hospitalization treatment is required.

When children get diarrhea once during their childhood, they are okay after resting for a few days.

So, I easily diagnosed gastroenteritis.

My husband has been hospitalized and receiving treatment for almost a week.

Enteritis is divided into bacterial and viral types.

Norovirus belongs to viral gastroenteritis.

Norovirus, which becomes particularly active during the winter season among the four seasons,

They say it can survive even at -20 degrees Celsius.

From December to March, when the temperature is low, always at risk of norovirus.

I need to pay attention to the sea.

It is said to be highly contagious even at low temperatures.

Norovirus symptoms include sudden high fever and headache, similar to the flu.

High fever, muscle aches, severe vomiting, and abdominal pain.

There has been an occurrence of severe diarrhea.

Preventive measures are when the body is tired and the immune system is weakened.

Avoid consuming raw seafood that you are not accustomed to.

It must be cooked thoroughly before eating.

I never thought I would get gastroenteritis in winter.

They say it happens quite frequently.

Since then, I've been paying attention to food management throughout all four seasons.

I think so^^

And I think taking care of your immunity is really important.

When you're not feeling well, seeing how you get infected with viruses like this;

To avoid getting enteritis even during hot summers like now

Please take good care of your food waste management and stay healthy^^
