I'm going through a difficult time due to symptoms of acid reflux and am establishing regular habits.

In my case, I had a difficult time with stomach health for a while.
Whenever I have a regular health check-up, two things become obstacles, so I was prescribed medication.
At first, I didn't realize that these symptoms—such as acid reflux, constipation, poor digestion, hunger, and difficulty swallowing—were related. I thought it was just because I wasn't exercising and spent time on foolish remedies, which was a foolish mistake.
However, as it turned out, I also had chronic constipation, so the hospital said that my rhythm was not smooth and blood circulation was not good, which led to excessive eating habits and disrupted daily routines.
They said that it was accumulated, leading to the development of reflux esophagitis symptoms.

For a while, I started trying various methods to alleviate the tightness around my neck and stomach after being prescribed medication, and to improve my stomach health by incorporating them into my daily routine.
Perhaps because of the effort to reduce late-night snacks and other treats, digestion has become easier and bowel movements are more regular, making daily life much more comfortable and light.

 

So, first, let's share information about why symptoms of reflux esophagitis occur, including causes, treatments, good foods, foods to avoid, and other related information.

1. Causes of gastroesophageal reflux disease

The reason this issue occurs is that, as people go through their day, the symptoms vary depending on the individual.
Problems with eating habits and various stresses are also said to be causes.
And irregular lifestyle habits are said to lead to various problems.

 

Medically, it is understood that symptoms occur because the lower esophageal sphincter does not properly tighten, failing to prevent reflux.
I think it was a combination of factors, including poor eating habits, stress, and decreased activity levels, which made it difficult to perform that role.

2. Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease

In my case, since it wasn't serious, I didn't undergo surgery. Instead, I received prescriptions for medication to ensure smooth recovery and checked on lifestyle habit corrections for management.

3. Good foods for acid reflux

Additionally, after treatment, we recommend lifestyle modifications and suggest foods that are good to consume during this time.

 

1) Cabbage
Cabbage is a representative food that helps with stomach health.

2) Ginger
It is a good food that helps alleviate typical inflammatory responses.

3) Egg whites
Egg whites are rich in protein and low in fat, making them good for acid reflux.

4) White fish
White-flesh fish are rich in protein and are said to promote good stomach health.

5) Fruits with low acidity
Fruits other than citrus are generally good for acid reflux disease, as they are rich in water and act as antacids.

 

4. Symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease and foods to avoid
On the other hand, there are foods that are bad for chemical esophagitis.
It is said that types of coffee, such as mixed coffee that you usually enjoy drinking, are not good for the stomach due to caffeine.

 

In addition, chocolates, fried foods, high-fat processed foods, ice cream, beef, and pork products.
They say that foods that are high in the stomach lining are not good for health. Especially spicy, salty, and刺激 foods, as well as high-calorie foods, are also harmful to symptoms of reflux esophagitis, so if you look into these foods, you'll find out that...
These are foods I was eating daily without knowing, but I think that adjusting or avoiding them might help alleviate symptoms of reflux esophagitis.

 

I needed information about the symptoms, causes, and treatments of reflux esophagitis, as well as which foods are good for it. Reflecting on the difficult times I went through to treat the disease myself, I explored a few things together.

Although it's a small habit, I became aware that depending on how I maintain my condition, symptoms can easily appear, so I am mindful of this and reflect on my daily life, managing my diet carefully whenever I have the chance.
Now, for a healthier life, I hope we can recognize that maintaining a regular diet and developing healthy daily habits to preserve our condition and avoid symptoms or illnesses related to reflux esophagitis is the way to stay healthy. I hope we can all take an interest in disease prevention early on!~
