After being diagnosed with Crohn's disease, I received treatment at Seoul St. Mary's Hospital. It was a very difficult process, but I was able to find a continuous treatment method. Through various management and treatments, I was able to effectively control the symptoms of Crohn's disease and received a lot of support during my recovery process. Crohn's disease is an inflammatory bowel disease, and in my case, abdominal pain and diarrhea were the main symptoms. From the initial consultation at Seoul St. Mary's Hospital, I received an accurate diagnosis and a treatment plan. Endoscopy and blood tests were used to assess the severity of inflammation and the condition of my intestines, which played an important role in establishing subsequent treatment strategies. Since Crohn's disease is one of the diseases that does not heal easily, I participated in a clinical trial, and fortunately, I was able to see effects from the medication called Linberk that I received through the trial. During the initial treatment period, I experienced improvement in symptoms through regular progress checks and medication adjustments. Since then, I have also received effective nutritional counseling and psychological support, which helped improve my overall health. Crohn's disease can manifest in various forms in each patient, so accurate diagnosis and early treatment are crucial. My advice to other Crohn's patients is to ensure the most accurate diagnosis possible, establish an appropriate treatment plan according to the doctor's recommendations, and maintain regular hospital visits and checkups. I hope that healthy lifestyle habits and proper medication intake will help in managing Crohn's disease.
