People with loud fart sounds, suspect 'this illness'
The sound of farting is produced when gas generated in the intestines is expelled through the anus, causing the surrounding skin and sphincter muscles to tremble. There are several reasons why fart sounds may become louder, but conditions such as hemorrhoids and other anal diseases can be a cause. When an anal disease occurs, the passage through which gas is expelled narrows, making the sound louder. In the case of hemorrhoids with small bumps around the anus, along with skin conditions and pain, the anus may become narrower, resulting in louder fart sounds. If you suspect hemorrhoids and notice that fart sounds have become louder, it is advisable to visit a hospital for examination to prevent symptoms from worsening.
Even if the sound of a fart is loud, you should not hold it in for a long time. Habitually holding in fart can cause constipation. If you keep holding it in, you won't be able to release the gas in a timely manner. Of course, some of the gas is reabsorbed into the bloodstream and expelled during breathing. However, most of it accumulates in the intestines, causing abdominal bloating. Nitrogen gas builds up in the intestines, causing the colon to swell. This weakens the intestinal motility, leading to irregular bowel habits and increasing the risk of constipation. Farting should not be suppressed; releasing it is good for health and can also prevent constipation.
Meanwhile, if you frequently pass gas or have recently increased the amount of gas, it could be due to your eating habits. Eating vegetables high in dietary fiber such as cabbage, beans, and broccoli can cause gas to build up in the stomach. Dietary fiber is good for the body, but it tends to produce gas in the intestines, leading to more frequent flatulence. Consuming dairy products like milk and yogurt can also increase the frequency of passing gas because of a deficiency in lactase enzyme, which results in more gas production when eating dairy. Overeating also puts a burden on the stomach and takes longer to digest, which can cause frequent flatulence. Lack of physical activity or sitting in one place for a long time can also reduce gastrointestinal motility, leading to gas buildup.
