[Indigestion concern] I don't know if the pain near the gallbladder is stress-related.
I have experienced severe abdominal pain from time to time since I was young.
It's not usually a large amount, but sometimes during overeating or
(Overeating doesn't always cause pain) or when I eat to avoid leaving food behind, etc., I often experience severe bloating and abdominal pain.
Everyone experiences indigestion at times, but even taking antacids or going to the hospital doesn't seem to help much.ใ
ย
Now, I have some know-how: when I have a stomach ache, applying warm compresses to my stomach helps reduce the pain. If I fast for a day, I feel okay, but I can easily get indigestion afterward, so I need to be careful with my diet for a few days.
ย
Because of this, I haven't even been to the hospital, but it's not in my stomach; it's extremely painful just below the right rib cage.
That's the gallbladder.
So I also had an ultrasound done, and they said there was no problem...
They said my gallbladder is a bit large, but there was nothing they could do except prescribe some medication (and even with the medication, it didn't help at all; in fact, I felt more uncomfortable because I drank more water while taking the medicine).
ย
I went to the hospital again because I was sick last time, and since I went suddenly, the waiting time was long, and ultrasound exams couldn't be done on the same day. So, I had an abdominal CT for the first time, and there were no issues on the CT scan.
ย
I try not to overeat or get stressed (though I can't always control my feelings ๐), and I make an effort not to eat forcibly, but I still end up doing it sometimes... Is it really just stress-related?
ย
Last year, for about a month or two, I kept feeling bloated and refluxing every time I had dinner, so I tried to eat less, but it kept happening. Recently, it's been okay again. I never know when it will happen again, so I live in constant tension.ใ
