I've had a difficult time with reflux esophagitis. The various symptoms, including heartburn, abdominal pain, and upper abdominal discomfort, made daily life difficult. Consistent health management is crucial.

 

I recently experienced pain around my left rib cage, so I received a prescription from a pharmacy and took it. However, the pain persisted even after taking it. It wasn't just mild pain; the pain and symptoms persisted to the point where I couldn't sleep, so I ended up going to the hospital.

 

The hospital's internal medicine department recommended an abdominal X-ray and ultrasound after listening to my symptoms. However, the tests showed no abnormalities. Since I was fasting that day, they were able to perform an endoscopy. The upper endoscopy revealed symptoms of reflux esophagitis, including hyperacidity, and I was diagnosed with esophagitis.

 

Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) symptoms vary. This condition is caused by stomach contents or acid refluxing into the esophagus. It occurs when the organs are unable to function normally, causing food to flow back into the stomach.

 

To alleviate these reflux esophagitis symptoms, I tried my best to avoid lying down immediately after eating and avoid spicy foods. I also frequently ate salads and fiber. As a result, I lost some weight. Haha. I also tried to eat probiotics in case they helped with digestion. Haha.

The most important thing, of course, is food! Food that's not salty or spicy is good, and avoiding stress is key! However, that's not always possible in modern society, so I think it's best to find ways to manage stress.
