헤르페스 란 단어을 오늘 처음 접해보네요 감염이 된다고요 잘보고갑니다 감사합니다
Herpes seems to be a virus that appears when the body is exhausted, not feeling well, and the immune system is weakened.
Once you get a cold sore, it lasts about a week and is itchy and painful, making it uncomfortable.
It is a virus that tends to recur and has high infectivity, so caution is necessary.
My husband and I tend to get herpes easily when we are overwhelmed with fatigue or when our immune system is weakened.
Recently, at the end of the year, my husband has been busy with a lot of work and stress, and then he developed herpes.
On the first day, it naturally appears as blisters on the lips. Before the blisters form, the symptoms include a sensation of heat on the lips, along with itching and a burning feeling.
This symptom is also called herpes labialis and usually occurs on the lips. Blisters and vesicles have appeared on the lips. There is also pain.
As the lip blister heals, a scab forms and then falls off.
It fully heals between 6 to 10 days without leaving a scar.
What is herpes?
Herpes virus infection is a common viral disease caused by infection with the virus, resulting in blisters and redness on the skin, and is often called cold sores or lip herpes because it frequently occurs on the lips.
Herpes virus infection includes the simple herpes virus, which refers to types 1 and 2. These viruses are classified into two main types, and to explain simply, type 1 virus mainly infects the mouth, while type 2 virus infects the reproductive organs. This infection causes blisters and infections on most skin areas. It mainly occurs around the mouth, nose, or on the hips and genital areas. Symptoms tend to recur periodically, and the infected area is painful and cosmetically unappealing. For people with chronic illnesses or newborns, the simple herpes virus can be very serious and potentially fatal.
In our country, most adults are infected with Type 1 viral infections. Type 2 virus causes lesions in the genital area. In most cases, the virus is transmitted through sexual contact. Both of these types of herpes simplex viruses are transmitted through contact.
Most people are infected with herpes simplex virus type 1 during childhood. The virus is mainly transmitted through contact with family members or friends who carry the virus, and it can also spread through kissing, sharing utensils, or using the same towel. The lesions typically appear around the lips, nose, cheeks, or chin shortly after infection with the virus.
This virus does not cause such serious problems, but the issue is that once infected, the virus remains in a latent state in the body's nerve ganglia, and when the body becomes tired or immune function decreases, it reactivates and begins to multiply again. When the virus starts to multiply again, blisters will form around the infected area, resembling clusters of blisters on the skin. When these blisters appear, the virus is highly contagious, and even light contact such as kissing can transmit the virus. Therefore, if there are symptoms of the virus in family members or those around you, precautions should be taken.
When my fiancé contracted herpes, I avoided contact by using separate towels and utensils while eating, so none of my family members were infected.
