Review of laser treatment for small skin tags on the wrist
Hello? I have had a small skin tag on my left wrist since I was born.
Since it wasn't in a visible area, I left it alone, but as I got older, it slightly increased in size, so I decided I shouldn't leave it alone and received one session of laser treatment.
Currently, the volume has decreased significantly compared to before, but some color remains. I plan to gradually remove it through repeated treatments.
I have had a skin tag on my left wrist since I was young.
At first, I thought it might be a wart, but there was no transmission to other areas, and the size was relatively consistent, so I left it alone. Later, I realized it was a skin tag.
There is no definitively identified cause for genital warts.
Some cases are congenital like mine, while others are related to diabetes, but it seems that the causes vary greatly from person to person.
The only somewhat good thing about a papilloma is that, aside from its unsightly appearance, it doesn't really have any harmful effects on the body.
Still not aesthetically pleasing, and in my case, perhaps due to skin sagging with age, I felt that the skin tags were slightly growing, so I received one session of laser treatment.
Depending on the size of a papilloma, surgical procedures, commonly known as cutting treatments, may be necessary, while smaller sizes can be treated with laser cauterization.
Fortunately, I am the latter, so I received laser treatment.
I received treatment once and it has significantly improved, but the discoloration still remains somewhat, so I am planning to undergo a couple more treatments in the future.
Unfortunately, 'skin tags' cannot be treated with medication or supplies other than surgical procedures, so please keep that in mind.
Although I started treatment a bit late in life, if you have skin tags, don't ignore them just because they are small. Removing them early can reduce costs and leave fewer scars, which is better.
