Early symptoms of chickenpox are similar to a cold - Chickenpox treatment reviews and vaccination

I am planning to record my experience of being infected with chickenpox and receiving treatment even after receiving the chickenpox vaccination.
I'm glad I could get through it easily thanks to the vaccination, but since chickenpox can leave scars, I was quite concerned.

Since infection can also be transmitted through coughing, sneezing, or blisters, everyone must be cautious if someone in the family has chickenpox.

And the scary thing about chickenpox is that it can lead to pneumonia as a complication, so it's not something to ignore just because the symptoms seem mild.

 

 

However, even though the child received the chickenpox vaccination at home, blisters appeared, indicating that antibodies may not have developed.

Before the blister appeared, I had a high fever, and I kept tossing and turning, unsure if my skin was itchy or painful, so I couldn't sleep well.

It was so pitiful that they told me there is no oral medication for chickenpox and prescribed ointment instead.

The doctor said that the incubation period is a few days, and if treated during that time, recovery can be quicker. Since it looked like a common cold symptom, I didn't even suspect chickenpox. I felt so sorry for my child.

 

Because it was very itchy, I kept a cold wet cloth or something similar on my skin to relieve the itching.

 

Chickenpox can be prevented with a vaccine, and it is usually administered between 12 and 15 months of age.

If you missed that period, you should receive two doses at 4 to 8-week intervals.

If you haven't had chickenpox yet or have no memory of vaccination, it might be a good idea to consult with the hospital.

It was truly a chickenpox I never want to experience again.

If you have chickenpox and blisters have appeared, you really need to apply the ointment diligently.

Otherwise, if I scratch it, the wound won't heal, and that's how scars form ㅠ.ㅠ

Fortunately, the child didn't develop any scars.. We almost became a scarred family ㅠ.ㅠ
