[Hives] Treated with antihistamines, Vitamin C, and soothing gel.
While returning from the camping site in May, I developed hives on my arms the next day, so I visited a dermatologist and was told it was poison ivy hives.
Poison ivy dermatitis is a condition where skin develops rashes (hives) when in contact with grass during outdoor activities. It can occur when touching toxic grass or contact with ticks or other insects attached to the grass. Usually, the rash does not appear immediately but develops as an immune response, resulting in red, itchy rashes in the evening or the next day.
Long sleeves are a must for outdoor activities!!!
After the consultation
I received an injection and was prescribed medication, but there was no improvement, and the medication was quite strong for me, so I stopped taking it after one day! I took 2 tablets of 1000mg vitamin C three times a day. I also applied aloe soothing gel frequently to reduce the fever.
About seven days later, the hives gradually subsided and recurred, and now, after three months, they are not appearing at all. Also, greasy foods and wheat-based foods...
I hardly ate anything. Hives are related to immunity.
That's why diet control is really important.
Everyone has individual differences, but for my hives caused by poison ivy, vitamin C and soothing gel were very helpful.
