STI Test (STD Test) Review: Cost, Testing Method, and Duration

Are many people curious about STD testing? I also recently got tested, so I will share my experience here.

 

There are several methods of testing. The most common one is a urine test, which involves simply collecting a urine sample for examination.

Generally, urine tests cost between 20,000 and 50,000 won, and blood tests are approximately 30,000 to 80,000 won.

Fluid analysis costs approximately 30,000 to 60,000 won.

The comprehensive testing package that can check for various sexually transmitted infections at once costs approximately 100,000 to 200,000 won.

Since there are many cases where insurance does not cover the costs, it's a good idea to check the expenses before the test.

 

The testing process itself was not that uncomfortable.

Urine tests are very simple, and blood tests involved a slight prick from the needle, but it was tolerable.

Fluid tests or swab tests may be slightly uncomfortable, but there were no major issues.

 

 

I was a little anxious while waiting for the test results, but I felt relieved when the results came out.

If a positive result appears, the hospital will guide you on the appropriate treatment methods, so you don't need to worry.
