(Story) My groom has a large wound on his leg. Is it okay if a scab forms and it heals?
My second child is now 8 years old, and it's time for them to learn to ride a two-wheeled bicycle.
You know, right? To teach someone to ride a bicycle with two wheels.
You have to push while maintaining balance from behind, right?
But the groom grabbed the part behind the coffin lid.
She keeps saying she's anxious and asking me to hold her saddle to help her balance.
So, the tall groom was spreading his legs from behind to help maintain balance, and then,
I severely scraped my ankle on the protruding part of the bicycle wheel...
It was a deep wound, about the size of a file. ㅠㅠ
And then I just took a bath and applied ointment to heal the wound.
I didn't even put on a band. I thought that was better.
But... it didn't get better, and something was turning white.
I thought the wound was quite serious, so my husband went to the dermatologist three days later...
You should have disinfected the wound, applied ointment, and covered it with a bandage.
They said the wound was infected with bacteria, so I had to scrape out all that white stuff (it was very painful ㅠㅠ).
And they said to manage by applying the moist bandage and to come almost every day.
It might be a bit gross, but the area around where I applied the moist bandage while visiting the dermatologist
I developed a rash and, as shown in the picture below, it looks like white inflammation.
Go back to dermatology, scrape it off again, apply medication again, and put on a moist bandage...
It has been almost two weeks, and there has been little improvement...
It at least changes like in the picture below, but
It's not that a scab forms and then heals as we usually know...
Treating the wound in such a constantly humid environment...
Is it correct to recover, but at the hospital they said that forming a scab and healing is actually wrong...
It seems to heal well when a wound forms on the skin and a scab develops..
Wounds heal better when exposed to air, but scabs actually block the air and hinder the recovery of the injured area.
So, they create a moist environment to help the scars heal quickly.
Using moist products rather than regular products on the wound area helps promote healing.
The moist condition prevents scab formation, thereby reducing the likelihood of scars forming after the wound heals.
That's why the dermatologist my groom attends also performs moist wound therapy.
And initially, the wound was not properly managed, leading to bacterial infection.
It was something that didn't heal easily..
But I really wonder if this is correct ㅠㅠ
I have to go on an overseas business trip, but my wound hasn't healed for two weeks... I can't help but worry.
Eventually, in a slightly better condition than the photo below.
Packing up the many days' worth of materials ordered from Coupang and Naver for moist wound treatment on the skin.
I went on an overseas business trip.. and when I asked, they said it's gradually getting better...
It's a leg that was injured similarly and has a scar...
If a significant scar doesn't form this time... moist wound therapy... would be the answer, right? Haha ㅠㅠ
It provides detailed information about skin trauma/wound treatment at the dermatologist the groom attends.
Wounds... must be kept moist to minimize scarring!
And to prevent pigmentation of the treatment area, it is necessary to keep the wound area from being exposed to sunlight.
I must not forget!!
