[Concern] Melasma or freckles appearing on the body, not the face?

At some point, my entire arm became covered with freckles and dark spots. It was originally a smooth arm with nothing like that at all, so I was quite surprised.

So, after examining my whole body, I found some spots on my legs and abdomen here and there.

The size is not a black spot, but exactly the size of a freckle or a small blemish.

The freckles and dark spots on my face have been there for a long time above my cheekbones near my eyes, but they haven't increased or spread.

Even when I go out into the sunlight, I carefully apply sunscreen, wear long clothes, and even arm sleeves, but it still happens.

Could the sudden appearance of freckles and age spots on my arm be due to hormonal changes around menopause?

Can existing freckles and dark spots on the arm be removed?

Is laser or some kind of physical treatment the only way to get rid of it?

It probably can't be solved by eating or applying it directly, right?

These days, I feel so embarrassed even to show my arms.
