Burning sensation on the lips

Hello,

Has anyone experienced a burning and dry sensation on their lips with pus formation? It worsens especially when washing the face with water or drinking water. Even taking antiviral medication does not resolve the issue, which is concerning. I have been prescribed medication to apply on the lips, but even with continuous use, it does not permanently go away; it only temporarily improves.
