[Tip/Procedure Review] Wart Removal

My elementary school son developed a wart on his finger, and after six months, he asked me to have it removed first.

When we were young, friends with warts would have them partially removed with a knife, and we would burn the wart roots by igniting match head sparks on the wart area to get rid of them.

 

I think I understood the principle that the root of the wart must be completely removed.

Warts can be removed, but there was a side effect of leaving a burn scar.

I removed the wart in a very crude way.

 

These days, they remove warts using rapid nitrogen cryotherapy, which is almost the opposite.

I think we proceeded with about three rounds, and the doctor mentioned that it was quite painful momentarily.

It was a level of pain that even elementary school students could endure.

 

The scar mark has been completely removed without a trace.

 

If there were before-and-after photos, I could clearly convey the extent of the effect, but...

It's been quite a while since our child had the procedure, so there are no photos.
