From early acne symptoms to treatment, a review of overcoming skin concerns
I have been very worried lately because my skin troubles have worsened. In particular, as the acne on my back and face grew increasingly severe, my self-esteem plummeted, and I found myself covering my face with a mask or my back with my clothes whenever I went out. The initial symptoms were simple whiteheads, but over time, they spread into inflammatory acne and left red marks. I decided to seek treatment, especially as I noticed my skin condition deteriorating noticeably every time I looked in the mirror.
I visited a dermatologist for a diagnosis and began professional treatment. Initially, I was prescribed a mild topical ointment and antibiotics, and later, I underwent laser therapy and scaling in combination. At the beginning of treatment, I was very worried because my skin became dry and flaky, making it seem as though my symptoms were worsening; however, the doctor explained that this was a normal reaction. With consistent treatment, the inflammation gradually subsided, and the red marks began to fade.
Above all, improving my lifestyle was the most important thing. I reduced my intake of greasy foods and sugar, washed my face thoroughly at least twice a day, and corrected my habit of touching my skin with my hands to avoid irritation. As I combined these habits with treatment, my skin improved noticeably, and I began to feel more confident every time I looked in the mirror.
Although my skin isn't completely clear yet, my symptoms have improved significantly through treatment, and I plan to continue taking care of it consistently. I believe that for those with skin concerns, seeking professional help immediately at the early stages is the wisest choice. If you neglect it and let the symptoms worsen like I did, the treatment period will be longer and the costs will increase.
