Tongue bumps? I have white bumps on my tongue.

I have a white bump on my tongue, not a lump.

What is this?

The symptoms are as follows: a white, rough, uneven, slightly protruding spot on part of the tongue.

When I move my tongue, I feel a little stimulation and a rough feeling.

And sometimes I feel a tingling sensation or discomfort when I eat food.

Could this be one of the symptoms of tongue canker sores?

My tongue trouble is not getting any better and has been like this for several days now.

I've never had a tongue like this before...

Could it be another disease other than tongue canker sores?

Is there an ointment I can apply at the pharmacy?

Or should I go to the hospital and get diagnosed?

This is my first time experiencing these symptoms, so I'm worried and anxious.
