Toe Corn Treatment: Laser Removal After Failed Corn Bandage

I've had calluses on my toes for several years now.

At first, I tried treating my calluses at home. I tried using a callus bandage, which everyone else uses, and it seemed to work, but the calluses came back, so I ended up having to get them removed with laser.

At the time when I was treating my corneas with a cornea band

I usually enjoy wearing sneakers and shorts, but I think the problem was that I walked a lot and wore shoes that didn't breathe well for a long time.
At first, I just endured it because it kept growing and shrinking, but since it was quite big, it was so bothersome that I tried using a sty band at first.

After attaching the corn band, a hole will be created in the area where the corn is located, and white flesh will swell around the area.

That corn is located between the joints where my toes fold, so the flesh above it is also sacrificed.
You can use a clean, disinfected nail clipper to trim the white area around the nail.
The white, swollen flesh is already dead flesh due to the bandage, so it doesn't hurt to cut it off.
I used three sets of bandages, each lasting 5-7 days. I wore the bandages for almost a month.

When I put the last band on, I finally felt like the sty was gone, so I took the band off.
After removing the band, the white, swollen flesh quickly turns red again.

So I thought I had successfully treated my own styes, but...!!

The sty that I thought was gone started to grow back in small pieces.

It's getting bigger and bigger;;

There was no pain at all until I started treating my calluses with a corn band, but later on, it hurt so much when I pressed on them with my hand that I couldn't even touch them with nail clippers.

I had already put on a sty bandage three times, but it came back again, so I thought I couldn't treat my sty on my own anymore, so I went to the hospital.

Common treatments for calluses, aside from eye bandages and topical medications, include cryotherapy and laser treatment. However, I heard that cryotherapy is very painful, so I got laser treatment.

I was worried that the laser would hurt a lot, but it didn't hurt even after the anesthesia wore off.
Instead, the anesthesia injection was a little painful. It felt like the paper was cutting my skin? I guess it's because my toes don't have any flesh.
Still, the procedure didn't take long, and I felt so refreshed after it was over.

After the procedure, the area was larger than I thought, and I had to cut and attach a thick piece of Hymam Foam and wrap it with a bandage, so it was uncomfortable.

Even though the sty was removed with a laser and opened up, the flesh quickly grew back well.

The speed at which I gained weight was much faster than I thought.

It got better with new skin growing and scabs falling off!

It's not completely smooth yet, but it doesn't hurt when I press it with my hand anymore haha

Treating styes is not as easy as I thought.

If you don't have any pain at first like me, many people try using a corn bandage rather than going to the hospital. However, even if the corn disappears at the time, it can recur at any time, so it seems difficult to treat it all at once.

This experience made me realize how important it is to treat styes properly at an early stage.
