Rosacea Treatment Reviews (Symptoms, Causes, Treatment, Management)

This is a review of the treatment for rosacea, which has been bothering me for a long time.

I had been receiving treatment at a local dermatology clinic, but although the medication seemed to be working well, it kept recurring, so I transferred to a larger hospital and am currently receiving treatment for rosacea as an outpatient.

What is rosacea?

Pityriasis rosea is a condition in which red, rose-colored spots appear on the body.

These spots often appear when the immune system is weakened or allergic, and their exact cause is still unknown. This is why treating rosacea is so difficult, as there's no specific cause and it tends to recur.

Even though I took the medicine prescribed by the dermatologist, it only lasted for a short time, and when the weather got colder than in the summer, it would inevitably relapse, so this time I changed hospitals.

At first, I had pinkish-colored rashes on my arms, legs, sides, and stomach.

Maybe it's because the weather has gotten colder, but now it's starting to come up to my neck and face....

It also came up on the instep and neck, which were previously clean areas.

My neck was so itchy that I scratched it and it got redder.

I went to a general hospital because it was getting worse and worse on my face.

Look at my symptoms Fungal test I said let's try it.
A swab test involves taking a sample of the affected area with a blade and conducting a detailed examination.
The test results are normal, no bacteria.

The professor The treatment for rosacea is to take a long time. He said.
Medical experts recommend that treatment for rosacea last six weeks. In short, time is the best medicine!

Besides medication, there is also light therapy as a treatment for rosacea.

Undress to expose the area that needs to be treated for rosacea, apply baby lotion, and when you are ready, press the call button, go into the machine, and press the call button.

Then the nurse comes, closes the machine door, tells me how many minutes it will take, and leaves.

I receive light therapy twice a week.

And I took the bag of medicine I had been prescribed from the local dermatologist.

This medicine didn't work well, so I asked for a prescription for another medicine.

Except for one, this time my face got worse, along with other medications than before, so I was re-prescribed a slightly weaker steroid ointment, Advantan.

The medication is for 7 days, but they told me to only take it when my symptoms are severe. It's not meant to be taken every day.

At this time, there wasn't that much of a difference.

This is the third time.

It was a day when I felt a sudden improvement.

I never felt like I was getting any better even after taking medicine, but it was amazing to see the red spots gradually disappearing.

Even after going through all that hardship and going for months, I felt my skin getting better.

I still need to continue receiving treatment for my rosacea, but since the treatment period is at least 6 weeks, I will continue to receive light therapy, take medication, and manage my stress well.

I never drink alcohol and I try my best to avoid snacking.

I only use mild moisturizers from dermatologists.

If there is anyone like me who is suffering from rosacea, I highly recommend getting a fungal test and light therapy.
