Many of you may know about rosacea (rosy rosacea), but for those who don't, I'll briefly explain it.
As the name suggests, pityriasis rosea is a condition in which red, rose-colored spots appear on the skin.
They say it can happen when your immune system is low or you're under a lot of stress, but isn't that true for all modern people?
So, even at the hospital, they said there was no exact cause and that it was just a skin cold.
I was diagnosed with rosacea and have been taking medication for two weeks. I take it without missing a single dose and don't drink alcohol at all, but it's taking too long to get better.
There's no sign of it getting better...
I think it got worse after the weekend. Sometimes it's fine, but other times it tickles and stings.
I have those spots on my chest and stomach too;
They say that this is different from rhinitis or seborrheic dermatitis, which are difficult to cure or prone to relapse once you get it, but it is possible to cure it.
The hospital also said that if I continued to receive treatment, I would get better.
I looked it up and it says it goes away naturally, but why doesn't it seem to be getting better for me? ㅠㅜ
They say that it gets better with time, so should I stop taking the harsh dermatological medication and just wait and see?
I'm worried that this spot will become discolored or become ugly.
Another thing that worries me is that I had a trip abroad planned for this fall, even before I got rosacea. The destination is Southeast Asia, which has hot weather, so I'm even more worried because my arms and legs will definitely be exposed to the sun.
Is there any way to cure it quickly?
