My scalp is peeling from a burn. What should I do?
After I went on a trip during the Liberation Day holiday, my scalp started to feel a tingling pain.
It wasn't itchy, but it stung and hurt a little when I pressed it with my hand.
The other day, I was drying my hair and it felt unusually hot, so I looked in the mirror and saw that my scalp was bright red.
I looked it up and it says that the scalp can also get burned by sunlight.
The sunlight is so strong that my scalp is red and peeling like skin.
The back of the head and temples are fine.
I did wear a hat that day, but it was a straw hat with a hole in the crown, so only the crown was sunburned.
And when I woke up one day, my scalp was peeling off...
It's not dandruff, it's scalp flakes. I removed the flakes and there were hair holes in them.
I was thinking about not touching it, but it looked so messy that I cleaned it all up, but it still stings.
What should I do if my scalp gets sunburned?
I'm worried my hair might be falling out, but I don't think it's serious enough to warrant a trip to the hospital. Or should I go to the hospital?
It's hard to know what to put on my scalp
First of all, I usually dry my hair with hot air, but these past few days I've been drying it with cold air.
Is there anyone who got better after having their scalp peel off like me? ㅠㅠ
