😱Bedbug Hives Symptoms and Treatment Reviews

I'm worried about my skin discoloration these days due to mosquito allergies.

I suddenly remembered being bitten by a bed bug before, so I decided to write a review.

Bedbugs, as you know, are lice... Here are the symptoms, recovery process, and treatment reviews of bedbugs.

 

 

Causes of bedbugs

I didn't get bitten by a bed bug in Korea, but while traveling abroad.

I'm not sure exactly where I got bitten, but my guess is that the hotel was the problem.

The first symptom of bed bug hives was waking up to find a few light red bumps on my arms.

 

It was summer, so at first I just thought it was a mosquito bite.

There were a lot of mosquitoes in the hotel room.

But later I saw that there were spots all over my legs and sides.

 

Most of the symptoms of bed bug hives are already known to be a row of bite marks that appear when bitten by a bed bug.

I never thought it was a bed bug because the bite marks weren't in a row and they were small.

The problem was the next day

The bite marks on my arms, legs, and sides got more swollen and I started scratching all over my body.

My side probably got bitten when I slept on my side...ㅠㅠ

 

It was itchy like crazy, and I started to feel a burning sensation in the area where I was bitten. If you look at the picture, you can see that it feels different than the first picture, right?

It was only then that I realized it was a bed bug.

Looking for more information about bed bug hives symptoms, I found that it can be accompanied by extreme itching and the bites may not be in a row, but can be three or more in an area that fits inside the palm of your hand.

 

I immediately contacted the hotel and requested that the room be cleaned.

I went to the hospital and was told that the rash was most likely caused by bed bug hives.

I received a medical opinion and charged the hotel for the hospital bill, ointment, and antihistamine, and even got the clothes I wore that day cleaned for free... but I threw them away.

If you're bitten by a bed bug, the rule is to throw away all your belongings. Bed bugs are so resilient that they can remain on your clothes.

I also requested a refund for the hotel fee, but it would have been possible if I had a video or photo of the bed bug, but I didn't have any, so I couldn't get a refund.

Still, I was glad that I received the hospital bill.

 

Since it happened on the day of departure, I checked out and went straight to the dermatologist upon returning to Korea.

As expected, the dermatologist said that it was indeed a bed bug symptom.

Fortunately, I got a shot and took antihistamines, so the bite mark faded quickly.

The dermatologist said that when the swelling from the bite goes down and you see several dots, it's probably bed bug bite marks😱

It's definitely different from a mosquito bite!

As I received dermatological treatment, the scar gradually faded and it took quite a while for the bite wound to completely disappear.

 

Bed bug hives can sometimes be mild, but that's rare. They usually appear red, and not all bed bug bites are in a row.

If you have multiple bite marks in one area like mine, you should be suspicious.

Of course, it's best not to get bitten, but since it's a common bug overseas, I've developed the habit of spraying insect repellent and checking my bedding when checking in.
