I suddenly wondered why the prices of implants vary so drastically, and I just can't get a handle on it. The other day, I was having coffee with a friend and this topic came up. That friend said they paid 800,000 won at their local dentist. But another acquaintance said they paid over 2 million won, proudly claiming that the quality was that much better. I just laughed it off at the time, but inside I was thinking, "What is this? On what basis are these differences so huge?" My mind was all tangled up.

Honestly, implants are not something you do once and be done with; they replace my teeth that I will use for a lifetime. So, just because something is cheap doesn't necessarily mean it's good, and just because something is expensive doesn't automatically mean it's trustworthy. I found some articles online suggesting that the difference in materials is a factor, and that a doctor's experience and skill are reflected in the price. For example, the cost can vary depending on whether the implant material is domestic or imported, and since the quality can differ greatly between brands, it gets even more confusing. As a result, I start to worry, "What if I go to a place that's too cheap and end up regretting it?"

Moreover, these days, every dental clinic seems to be advertising events, but I can't tell whether those benefits are genuine or just bait to attract people. Some places promote brightly with slogans like "Reserve now and get 500,000 won off!", but when you actually visit, additional costs may be added, making it more expensive. So, all of this confuses me. I don't understand why the prices fluctuate so much, and I have no idea what I should look into to make a truly reasonable decision.

Meanwhile, another concern naturally came to mind. What should I look for to find a good dentist? This is really a difficult problem for beginners like me. First and foremost, I think about the dentist's experience. The more experience they have, the more know-how they likely possess, and the less chance there is of making mistakes. But how do I verify that? I guess the only option is to visit the dental clinic's website and read the director's profile. However, these days, everyone presents their information so well that I don't even know how much to trust it.
