[Review] 7-year-old child's frenectomy surgery review

I am planning to write a review of the frenectomy procedure I had in July 2016.

 

While the child is born and receiving pediatric care

Please check the frenulum.

There was no particular story regarding our child.

The child has turned 7 years old.

I moved to a different dental clinic and received treatment there.

Well... then...

The child has a short frenulum.

In the picture, the tongue is heart-shaped.

If a child's tongue shape is heart-shaped, surgery may be necessary.

I realized that at that time.

That our child has a slightly different appearance.

There is a hygiene issue. ㅜ.ㅜ

I can't lift my tongue up ㅠ.ㅠ

So I can't brush my teeth thoroughly in every corner.

The doctor said that surgery must be performed for hygiene reasons.

In July 2016 (at age 7), I had surgery.

 

 

 

If you tell a child that they will have surgery

I thought I would be too scared.

So, I need to get a dental check-up.

I had to undergo surgery with my eyes covered.

 

The surgery didn't take long.

Under anesthesia

After gently cutting with scissors

It was finished after the comment.

I remember that the time was really short.

While the child receives anesthesia injection

I was surprised.

Still, I didn't cry and received the surgery well.

The child still doesn't know that they had surgery.

 

I visited the hospital the day after surgery for disinfection.

The stitches were removed a week later.

And

Ta-da~~

I have become the same as everyone else's tongue.

The hygiene issue has been resolved.

I have become able to brush my teeth thoroughly.

It was a frenulum surgery, but it was really as simple as a procedure.
